Alan Wright (Current Board Member/Board President
My name is Alan Wright. My wife (Annette) and I moved to Nixa in 2017 to be near our daughter (Sara) and her husband (O’Neal) and their two children (Ryland-5 and Madilyn-3). We also have a son (John) and his wife (Anna) and their daughter (Charley-1) that live in Bella Vista, AR. Most of our families live in Northwest Arkansas. I am a Real Estate Broker Associate (affiliated with Keller Williams). I have a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designation and a Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designation. I am also a CPA (licensed in Arkansas and Missouri) and have worked for Ernst & Young in public accounting and as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a private company for many years. I have been President of the Villages at Wicklow Property Owners Association (POA) for three years. Bill Hagebusch (Current Board Member)
I am a grandfather of five with a grandson working on a master’s degree and a granddaughter being scouted by college softball teams. I’m retired from a long career as a computer hardware and software engineer and IT manager, most recently from JPMorgan Chase and Baker Hughes Oilfield Services.
I lived in Houston, Texas for 40+ years and moved back to Missouri in 2018. Ruth and I moved from Ozark to the Village of Summerhill in August of 2020. We fell in love with the Villages the first time we saw them.
I am an active amateur radio operator (ham), holding an Extra class license and am a member of the Nixa Amateur Radio Club. I’ve long been fascinated with the ability to use a small radio and a piece of wire to talk to people around the word and on the space station.

Matt Self
Matt Self is a Test Engineer and Instructional Systems Designer for the defense contractor Lockheed Martin. He served 26 years in the United States Air Force flying on C-130 aircraft all around the globe. He retired in 2022 as the Group Superintendent, leading an organization of 250 people. Currently he tests software and hardware modifications for C-130J training devices, and provide quality assurance for the C-130J, Combat Rescue Helicopter, and Naval Maintenance training programs. He has a Bachelor’s of Science in Project Management, a Masters in Organizational Leadership, and is currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Strategic Leadership program with Liberty University. In his spare time, Matt loves being outside hunting, fishing, and camping as well as spending time with his wife of 20 years and two very special kids.

Marcelene Middleton
I was born Marcelene McLean and have lived in Nixa all my life. My dad and mom were grocery store owners while I was growing up. Because Nixa was a small town back then, we knew everyone in town by first name. After high school, I attended Southwest Missouri State University, graduating with a BS and MS in Education to teach English, Speech, and Journalism. I was a classroom teacher 32 years at Buffalo, Ozark, Cherokee Junior High, and the last 24 years at Kickapoo High School in Springfield. I married my high school sweetheart Ron Middleton who became a builder/developer in this area. The Villages at Wicklow was his last subdivision he planned and began developing before his death in 2010. We have three children, Michelene, Rachelene, and McLean, and six grandchildren, all living only 15 minutes from my home. I’m a very lucky grandmother! In 2016, I met and married Clark Mashburn, also a resident of Wicklow; but he passed away in 2019. In retirement, I enjoy working in my yard, taking daily walks, and spending time with my family. I attend church at Union Hill Church of Christ in Nixa and enjoy being involved with church activities.
